Atlanta Falcons Tickets

The Atlanta Falcons, with a record of three Division Championships in 1980, 1998 and 2004, one Conference Championship and an appearance in the Super Bowl XXXIII, started as an NFL expansion team in 1966. Although the Atlanta Falcons started a bit weak with only 12 wins in the 1960s, the team brought excitement to the NFL with talented football players like Dave Hampton, Steve Bartkowski, Gerald Riggs, Terance Mathis and Morten Andersen among others.

While the Atlanta Falcons remained one of the toughest teams in NFL, it was only until 2001 that then backup quarterback Michael Vick gave the Falcons’ fans a good reason to celebrate. Known to many people as the most exciting player in football, Vick gave the Atlanta Falcons a new life when he became the team’s full time quarterback and lead them to the playoffs in 2002, but lost to the Divisional Playoffs to Philadelphia Eagles.

This year, the Atlanta Falcons would undergo some changes – starting the season with Michael Vick in jail due to dog-fighting activities and without head coach Bobby Petrino. Head coach Mike Smith, who aims to improve the Atlanta Falcons’ 4-12 record from last season, would now lead the team. Plus, the success of the team now lies on Byron Leftwich or Joey Harrington to step up while Michael Vick is gone.

Make sure to be on Georgia Dome when the Falcons try to surprise people with its new and improved team. Get your Atlanta Falcons tickets now, before it’s too late. Remember, these Atlanta Falcons tickets run out real fast; don’t miss the opportunity to watch the team make a mad dash to the endzone!
